Construction Techniques

*To reinforce FABRIC PAPER DOLL & CLOTHES, fuse with a sturdy DUCK CLOTH backing.  Insert a small piece of white bread wrapper twisty between the clothing tabs and the backing for a flexible mechanism to secure the clothes to the doll.

*To straighten fabric after washing, in preparation for cutting, fold across the bias and pull. Get a friend to help. Pull at the fold and every few inches out to the points.

*When you are trying to sew on buttons if you use a glue stick on the back of them and place them where you want, they will not slide around and stay just where you put them.
