EVENTS AND WORKSHOPS MARCH
2010 WORKSHOP and LECTURE MARSHA MC CLOSKEY www.marshamccloskey.com The Iowa Quilters Guild is pleased to have Marsha Mc Closkey, author and lecturer, present a 2-day workshop on March 19 and 20 at the Best Western Starlite in Fort Dodge, Iowa. Click HERE for complete schedule for this weekend. FRIDAY EVENTS *Lunch will be served poolside at the motel along with our paper doll parade. Prizes will awarded for originality, workmanship and humor. Entries into this contest can be anything that is related to this theme, such as a quilt, a wearable item, greeting card, a book or decorative item. *Workshop on piecing perfect triangles using the bias strip method. *Friday evening Marsha will present a Trunk Show showing her quilts and explaining her work.
SATURDAY EVENTS *Marsha will teach another class featuring a technique called grid-based feathered star from her recently published book. *During Saturday's poolside lunch, the Fort Dodge Guild will present a walking quilt show.
