President's Corner

The purpose of the Iowa Quilt Guild is to share information and ideas with members about programs, workshops, teachers, quilt shows, quilting events and local quilt guilds and groups in the state of Iowa.

Membership is currently about 150 and we pay $20 per year for dues.  We meet four times a year in various cities in the central part of the state.  Programs and workshops are provided at these meetings and every other year in even years we sponsor a quilt show. 

Members are offered the chance to meet other quilters throughout the state.  A variety of interesting workshops, lectures and trunk shows are being planned for 2009. Members enjoy presentations by local, state and nationally known quilters and designers.

Come join us in 2009 to celebrate the guild’s 30th anniversary.
